April Goals

First, I just wanted to shout from the rooftops and let you know that we booked our reception venue! Finally, that last HUGE detail {other than the food... which is also huge} is taken care of. Now it's just another million other tiny details to go! Seriously though, I'm so excited!! I think hope that this will stop at least some of the nightmares I've been having. Of course, checking this off of my to-do list made me really think about all that I want and need to accomplish in the next several months. But since thinking in such large terms can be overwhelming, I'm going to focus on one month at a time. So what does April have in store?
Succeed at participating in the #1800MinuteChallenge. If you don't know what that is, it's an amazing challenge to be active during the next two months that was thought up by Erin @ Living In Yellow. It's all about motivating yourself and most importantly, holding yourself accountable. Check it out, it's brilliant!

On that same note, keep up the healthy eating. This weekend completely messed me up - I ate out or ordered in for four days in a row! That's so not good! I mean.. it was GOOD... but it's not good for the weight loss thing.

Accomplish the following wedding things; Figure out catering, look into dessert options, get the DJ thing figured out, decide on invitations and order flowers.

Live a little more. The weather is finally showing glimpses of being tolerable. And even though last month was busy, it was still the 800th month in a row of being stuck inside for any and all activities. So I want to embrace the warmer weather and get out more!

Take more pictures. Both for blogging purposes and just to capture more memories. I am so guilty of getting home from a fun day/night & thinking "Oh, I should have taken pictures!". I always have my camera, it's not that I forget. But once I'm in the moment, it just slips my mind. Which isn't terrible, of course, because it means I'm really enjoying whatever is going on. But I also want something to look at later on to remind me of the times I experience.

Finish the bathroom project! Now that the painting is finished in the bathroom, it's time to finish the decorating. So I will be searching thrift stores & sales for some pieces to go into that.

What are your goals for April?

  1. Congratulations on booking your venue! The 1800 minute project sounds great, I might have to join you.
One April goal is to get back to sleeping at least 7 hours a night, I've been burning the candle lately and it's starting to take it's toll.
